99 Regent Street — NinetyNine — is a two-floor club at 99 Regent Street, holding around 200 people per floor. Hip hop and open format upstairs, house downstairs. Open Wednesday to Saturday, 11pm until 4am, in the room the Cuckoo Club occupied for years.

Who the guestlist is for

Mixed groups work on the 99 guestlist — this is not a ladies-only list, so groups of men and women can go down together. That is worth knowing, because several upscale rooms in this postcode do not operate that way and it makes 99 one of the more straightforward doors in the area to organise a group around.

What it costs

Guestlist entry runs from free up to around £50, depending on how busy the night is and what time you arrive. A quieter Wednesday is often complimentary; a full Saturday with both floors running sits at the upper end. We will tell you what your specific date actually looks like rather than promising free entry and leaving you to discover otherwise on Regent Street.

Arriving

Earlier is cheaper and earlier is easier, consistently. Two hundred per floor is not a big room, and on a weekend the upstairs floor reaches its peak well before close. Closer to 11pm than 1am makes a real difference to both what you pay and whether the list is still open.

Which floor you are getting

Wednesday and Thursday only one floor runs; Friday and Saturday both are open. If you are coming specifically for house, that means a weekend. Ask us before you commit to a midweek date and we will tell you which room is on.

The age rule catches people

Entry is 19+, not 18+. That is a year older than almost every other door in London and it is the most common reason someone in an otherwise fine group ends up outside. Bring photographic ID, and check the youngest person in your group before you make plans.

Dress code

Elegant, and genuinely enforced. This is an upscale room with a door that treats the code as part of the offer, and the guestlist does not soften it — if anything the door looks harder at list guests than at table bookings, which is true almost everywhere.

If you would rather not queue

A table removes the door from the equation. Entry is included for the group, minimum spends start from £600, and you get a private table, bottle service and a host for the night. For a group of six to eight that often works out close to what a busy-night door charge plus bar spend comes to anyway, with the difference that you have somewhere to sit.

How to join

Message us with the date, how many of you there are and the names in your group, and we will put the request in. Lists close ahead of the night and close earlier on weekends, so the sooner you ask the better.
