RUMOUR LONDON GUESTLIST

Rumour is an intimate 200-capacity club on Dover Street in Mayfair, open Wednesday to Saturday from 11pm until 4am, playing open format — hip hop, RnB and house. It opened in the former Tabu space and runs a selective door.

Who the guestlist is for

The Rumour guestlist is for ladies. Gentlemen are not on the guestlist at this venue — entry for mixed groups and groups of men is by table booking only. We would rather tell you that here than have you find out at the door, which is where this usually goes wrong.

What it costs

Guestlist entry for ladies runs from free up to around £20, depending on how busy the night is. Quieter midweek nights are typically complimentary; a full Saturday will sit at the upper end. We will tell you what the night looks like when you ask rather than promising free entry and leaving you to discover otherwise.

If you are booking for a mixed group

A table is the route in. Minimum spends start from £1,000, which covers a private table, bottle service, a host for the night and priority entry for the whole group. For a group of eight to ten that is a reasonable per-head figure, and it removes any uncertainty at the door.

Nights and times

Wednesday to Saturday, 11pm until 4am. The room is small, so it reaches capacity earlier than larger Mayfair clubs — arriving closer to 11pm than 1am makes a real difference to whether guestlist entry is still open.

Dress code and age

Heels for ladies and smart, dressed-up attire throughout. Rumour is a Mayfair room with a selective door, so this is enforced. Entry is strictly 18+ and photographic ID will be checked.

How to join

Message us with the date, the names in your group and how many of you there are, and we will put the request in. Lists close ahead of the night and close earlier on weekends, so the sooner you ask the better.
