INFORMATION
99 REGENT STREET TABLES
99 Regent Street — styled NinetyNine — is the new club at 99 Regent Street, open in the room the Cuckoo Club held for years. It runs two floors with two different sounds, holds around 200 people per floor, and takes tables from £600 minimum spend. If you knew the old room, you will recognise the address and very little else.
Two floors, two sounds
Upstairs is hip hop and open format — read to the crowd rather than locked to one lane. Downstairs is house. They are genuinely separate rooms rather than one floor with a quieter end, which is the single most useful thing to know before you book.
The practical consequence: on a Friday or Saturday a group that cannot agree on a sound does not have to. Base yourselves on one floor and let people move. Midweek it is simpler — see below.
Which floors are open when
Wednesday and Thursday run one floor. Friday and Saturday both floors are open. If the house room is the reason you are coming, book a weekend; if you want the room at its calmest, midweek is the better night. We will tell you which floor is running on your date rather than letting you find out at the door.
What a table includes
A table at 99 gets you a private table on the floor of your choice, premium bottle service, a host looking after the group for the night, and entry for your party — nobody is queuing on Regent Street.
Minimum spend
Minimum spends start from £600. That figure is spend across the bar for your group, not a fee for the table itself, and our side costs you nothing — the venue bills you directly with no booking fee and no commission added.
For a group of six to eight that is a realistic number rather than an aspirational one, and it is lower than most Mayfair rooms of this standing. Where you land above the minimum depends on the night, your group size and the position of the table. Send us the date and numbers and we will come back with what is actually available.
The room
Upstairs is built around a central run of tables facing the DJ, with banquettes along both walls and a long bar down one side. The numbering is a nod to the address — the booths closest to the DJ are 95 to 99. Ask for those if you want to be in the thick of it, or the wall banquettes if you would rather have the room in front of you.
An address with form
99 Regent Street has been a nightlife address since 1954, when it housed Al Burnett’s Stork Club — a room that drew Prime Minister Harold Macmillan, John Profumo, and Hollywood in the shape of Frank Sinatra, Elizabeth Taylor and Ava Gardner. The Cuckoo Club followed and ran it for years. The founders behind that chapter have reunited to open 99 on the same floor.
Nights and times
Wednesday to Saturday, 11pm until 4am. Fridays and Saturdays are the busiest, both floors are open, and tables go first. Wednesday and Thursday are the better bet at short notice.
Dress code and entry
The dress code is elegant and it is enforced — this is an upscale room and the door treats it that way. Entry is 19+, which is worth reading twice: it is a year older than almost every other door in London, and it catches people out. Bring photographic ID.
Booking a table
Send us the date, your group size, which floor you are leaning towards and the occasion, and we will arrange the table, the host and the entry. There is no booking fee and no commission on your bill.
