INFORMATION
RUMOUR LONDON TABLES
Rumour is the newest arrival on Dover Street, opened in the space Tabu occupied for years. It is a deliberately small room — around 200 people — washed in deep red and built for a dressed-up crowd. If the Mayfair clubs you have tried felt too big to ever get going, this is the opposite problem solved.
An intimate room, on purpose
Two hundred capacity is small for a Mayfair club, and that shapes everything about the night. Tables sit close to the floor rather than roped off at a distance, the room fills early and stays full, and the atmosphere builds in a way a larger space struggles to manage. Expect to be near the music and near everyone else — that is the appeal.
Open format, read to the room
Rumour plays open format: hip hop, RnB and house, mixed according to who is in on the night rather than locked to a single sound. In practice that means a Wednesday can feel quite different from a Saturday, and the DJs have licence to move with the crowd instead of holding one lane all night.
What a table includes
A table booking at Rumour gets you a private table in the room, premium bottle service, a dedicated host looking after your group for the night, and priority entry so you are not queuing on Dover Street.
Minimum spend
Minimum spends start from £1,000. That figure is spend across the bar for your group, not a fee for the table itself — and our side of it costs you nothing, with the venue billing you directly. Where you land above the minimum depends on the night, the size of your group and how close to the floor you want to be. Tell us the date and numbers and we will come back with what is actually available.
Nights and times
Rumour is open Wednesday through Saturday, 11pm until 4am. Fridays and Saturdays are the busiest and the first to go; Wednesday and Thursday are the better bet if you want the room without booking weeks ahead.
Dress code and entry
This is a dressed-up room. Heels for ladies, and smart and put-together for gentlemen — think the upper end of Mayfair rather than a relaxed Camden door. Entry is strictly 18+ and ID will be checked. The door is selective, which is part of why the room feels the way it does.
Booking a table
Send us the date, your group size and the occasion, and we will arrange the table, the host and the entry. There is no booking fee and no commission added to your bill.
