77 LONDON GUESTLIST

77 — Seventy Seven — is a 550-capacity house and techno club at 77 Welbeck Street in Marylebone, beneath The BoTree hotel. Open Friday and Saturday, 11pm until 4am. Here is how the guestlist works and who it covers.

Who it is for

Everyone. Entry at 77 is ticketed and open to men and women, so there is no ladies-only policy here and no requirement for a group with men in it to take a table.

That is worth knowing if your reference point is Mayfair, where an all-male or mixed group is often pushed toward a table whether they wanted one or not. 77 is a music venue first and prices entry accordingly.

What it costs

A door charge applies and moves with the night. Quieter dates sit at the lower end; a Saturday with a headline booking sits well above it. We will tell you what your specific date actually looks like rather than promising free entry and leaving you to discover otherwise on Welbeck Street.

Only two nights

Friday and Saturday. That is the whole week, so demand concentrates — this is not a venue where a quiet midweek option exists as a fallback. Lists close earlier than at venues running four or five nights, and on a big booking they close well before the night.

Arriving

Earlier is better on both counts: you pay less and you are more likely to still be on. Five hundred and fifty is a decent size, but two nights a week and international bookings mean it fills, and the room reaches its peak comfortably before close.

Check who is playing

More than at most venues, the lineup decides the night here. 77 books house and techno names that usually play much bigger rooms, and on those dates guestlist space goes first and the door charge is highest. If you are flexible on date, ask us which of the two nights is the easier one that week.

Dress code and age

Smart. It is a music-led room rather than a fashion door, so this is about looking put together rather than labels — but it is applied. Entry is 18+ and ID will be checked.

If you would rather not queue

A table covers entry for the whole group, with minimum spends from £700, plus bottle service and a host. It is optional rather than required — what it buys you is somewhere to base yourselves in a room that is mostly standing, and no queue on a busy Saturday.

Message us with the date, how many of you there are and the names in your group, and we will put the request in. The sooner the better, especially for a weekend with a name on the bill.
