Clubs Near Green Park: Four Late Nights Either Side of Piccadilly

Looking for clubs near Green Park? Four clubs we book sit within a short walk of the station: Rumour on Dover Street and Itzel on Berkeley Street on the Mayfair side of Piccadilly, and Mistress of Mayfair on St James's Street and Dear Darling on Jermyn Street on the St James's side. This guide covers where each one is in relation to the station, which nights it opens, what a table starts at, and how to plan a night that starts and ends at Green Park.

Green Park is the most useful station for this part of the West End because it sits right on Piccadilly, the road that divides Mayfair to the north from St James's to the south. Two of the clubs are a few minutes up the side streets north of Piccadilly and two are a few minutes south of it, so you can switch between them on foot without needing a cab.

Where Each Club Sits From the Station

The quickest way to picture it is to stand at the station on Piccadilly and split the four clubs by which side of the road they are on.

  • Rumour (1 Dover Street, W1S 4LD): north of Piccadilly. Dover Street runs up from Piccadilly into Mayfair, and Rumour, formerly Tabu, is near its Piccadilly end. Green Park is its nearest station.
  • Itzel (15 Berkeley Street, W1J 8DY): also north of Piccadilly, one street west of Dover Street. It occupies the address that was Funky Buddha for years.
  • Mistress of Mayfair (48 St James's Street, SW1A 1JT): south of Piccadilly. St James's Street runs down from Piccadilly towards St James's Palace, and despite the name the club is in St James's, not Mayfair.
  • Dear Darling (91 Jermyn Street, SW1Y 6JB): also south of Piccadilly, on the street of shirtmakers that runs parallel to it. The full name is Dear Darling Mayfair, but the address is St James's.

The pattern is simple: Rumour and Itzel are on the Mayfair side, Mistress of Mayfair and Dear Darling are on the St James's side, and Piccadilly runs between them.

Which Clubs Open on Which Night

The four clubs keep different weeks, so the night you choose decides your options. As of November 2026, from our venue listings and the clubs' confirmed schedules:

  • Monday and Tuesday: none of the four is open.
  • Wednesday: Rumour, one of its more relaxed nights.
  • Thursday: all four.
  • Friday and Saturday: all four, and all four at their busiest.
  • Sunday: Mistress of Mayfair and Dear Darling.

Thursday is the night to choose if you want all four doors open without the full weekend crush. Friday and Saturday give you the same choice with fuller rooms, so book ahead. On a Sunday, the St James's side of the station is where the night is.

The Four Clubs at a Glance

Rumour is the small room of the group: about 200 people, built around red velvet booths, with open-format music across hip hop, RnB and house. It opens Wednesday to Saturday, 11pm to 4am. Booths start from a £1,000 minimum spend as of November 2026 and cover entry for the group. The ladies' guestlist runs from free to £20 on the door depending on the night; men are not added to the guestlist and book a booth instead. Entry is 18+ on photo ID, and there is a strict no-photography policy in the main room. Book through our Rumour table page.

Itzel is the big one, with around 500 people across three spaces: a Main Room for hip hop and eclectic sets, the house-led Moon Room, and a late Mexican kitchen. It opens Thursday to Saturday, 11pm to 3:30am, and tables start from a £500 minimum spend as of November 2026, which makes it the lowest table minimum of the four. Entry is strictly 18+ with physical photo ID. See our Itzel table page.

Mistress of Mayfair is a Parisian-styled basement with a house and electronic music programme. It opens Thursday to Sunday. As of November 2026, table minimum spends start from £500 on Thursday and Sunday, £750 on Friday and £1,000 on Saturday, with premium booths from £1,500 at weekends. Use our Mistress of Mayfair table page.

Dear Darling has two moods: an elegant upstairs lounge playing house, and a darker, open-format basement for the later part of the night. It opens Thursday to Sunday and closes at 6am, which makes it the late finish of the four. Tables start from an £800 minimum spend as of November 2026, and entry is 18+. Book through our Dear Darling table page.

Planning a Night Around Green Park

Because the clubs keep different hours, the order of the night matters.

  1. Start with dinner and a drink nearby. Piccadilly and the streets either side of it have hotel bars and restaurants within a few minutes of all four clubs, so nobody needs to cross town before the night starts.
  2. Pick one main club and book it. A table secures entry for the whole group, which matters most for men and mixed groups. At Rumour, men are not added to the guestlist at all.
  3. Think about the finish. Itzel ends at 3:30am and Rumour at 4am. If the group wants to keep going, Dear Darling runs to 6am and is a short walk across Piccadilly.

A sensible Thursday or Saturday plan is to start on the Mayfair side at Rumour or Itzel and move south to Dear Darling for the late hours. On a Sunday, keep the whole night on the St James's side.

Which Club Suits Which Group

  • A small group that wants an intimate room: Rumour. With about 200 people inside, it fills early, so arrive in good time.
  • A group that cannot agree on music: Itzel. One table, two very different rooms, and food in between.
  • House and electronic music fans: Mistress of Mayfair.
  • A group that wants the longest night: Dear Darling, open until 6am.
  • A group watching the budget: Itzel, where tables start from £500, or Mistress of Mayfair on a Thursday or Sunday.

If two clubs on the same side of Piccadilly appeal, a table at one and a guestlist place at the other is easy to arrange in a single booking.

Getting Home From Green Park

Green Park is on the Jubilee, Piccadilly and Victoria lines, and all three run a 24-hour Night Tube service on Fridays and Saturdays, according to City Hall's Night Tube page. That makes it one of the easier West End stations to finish a weekend night at. On other nights the Tube stops around midnight, so plan on a night bus or a booked car.

For the wider area south of Piccadilly, our St James's nightlife guide covers the district's clubs and bars in more depth. If your night is further north, our guide to clubs near Oxford Circus covers Tape, Cirque le Soir, Selene, Maya and Beat.
