Clubs Near Oxford Circus: Five Late Nights a Short Walk Away

Looking for clubs near Oxford Circus? Within a short walk of the station there are five late-night venues we book: Tape on Hanover Square, Cirque le Soir on Ganton Street, Selene on Winsley Street, Maya beneath Inca London on Argyll Street, and Beat on Margaret Street. This guide covers where each one sits in relation to the station, which nights it opens, what a table starts at, and how to plan a night that begins and ends at Oxford Circus.

Oxford Circus works well as a base because it sits on the meeting point of four districts. Mayfair lies to the south-west, Soho and Carnaby to the south-east, Fitzrovia to the north-east and Marylebone to the north-west. You can move between several of these clubs on foot without needing a cab.

Where Each Club Sits From the Station

All five are reached from Oxford Circus Tube station, and none needs more than a short walk. The quickest way to picture it is by which side of the junction each club is on.

  • Maya and Inca London (8-9 Argyll Street, W1F 7TF): the closest of the five. Argyll Street runs south off Oxford Street right by the station, and Inca sits next to the London Palladium with Maya, formerly Luna, on the floor beneath it.
  • Cirque le Soir (15-21 Ganton Street, W1F 9BN): south-east of the junction, in the Carnaby streets behind Regent Street. Time Out's Cirque le Soir listing gives Oxford Circus as its Tube station.
  • Tape (17 Hanover Square, W1S 1HU): south-west of the junction, on the Mayfair side of Regent Street, a few streets down from Oxford Street.
  • Selene (4 Winsley Street, W1W 8HF): north of Oxford Street on the Fitzrovia side, in the space that used to be Libertine. It is near Oxford Circus but it is not a Mayfair club.
  • Beat (48 Margaret Street, Fitzrovia): also north of Oxford Street, a little further east along the back streets behind the shops.

The pattern is simple: Tape and Cirque le Soir are south of Oxford Street, Selene and Beat are north of it, and Maya is right beside the station.

Which Clubs Open on Which Night

Opening nights are where a plan usually falls apart, so here is the week as of October 2026, from our venue listings and the clubs' confirmed schedules:

  • Monday: Cirque le Soir.
  • Tuesday: Tape.
  • Wednesday: Cirque le Soir.
  • Thursday: Selene, and Beat on select Thursdays.
  • Friday: all five, including Little Tape, the after-party room at Tape.
  • Saturday: all five, including Little Tape.
  • Sunday: Tape and Selene.

Friday and Saturday are the only nights when every club near Oxford Circus is open at once. Midweek, the choice narrows to one or two venues, which makes booking ahead more important rather than less.

The Five Clubs at a Glance

Tape is the music-led room of the group: a nightclub, recording studio and members' lounge on Hanover Square. It opens Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and the main room closes at 3:45am. On Friday and Saturday, Little Tape next door runs from 3am to 5:30am. Tables start from a £750 minimum spend as of October 2026. Guestlist entry runs from free to £20, usually depending on arrival time, and is for women; men and mixed groups book a table.

Cirque le Soir is the show club, with performers working the room through the night. It opens Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday and always finishes at 3:45am. Tables start from an £800 minimum spend as of October 2026. Entry is 18+, rising to 21+ at weekends, so check every ID in the group before a Friday or Saturday. See the Cirque le Soir table page.

Selene opens Thursday to Sunday, 11pm to 4am. Alongside its club rooms it has private bowling lanes that can be booked with a table, which makes it the most useful option for a group that wants something to do before the dancing starts. Tables start from an £800 minimum spend as of October 2026. Book through the Selene table page.

Maya is the club beneath Inca London, inspired by ancient Mayan culture. It opens Friday and Saturday, 11pm to 3am, with entry 18+ on photo ID and a smart dress code. Guestlist and tables are by request, and table prices are confirmed when you book. Upstairs, Inca London is a Nikkei restaurant with a dinner show of dancers, acrobats and singers, so dinner and the club can share one address. Our Inca London guide covers both floors.

Beat is the late one. It opens on select Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and runs until 6am. There is no guestlist: entry is by table booking, with tables from £1,000 and VIP tables from £2,000 as of October 2026. Use the Beat table page.

Planning a Night Around Oxford Circus

Because the clubs keep different hours, the order of the night matters.

  1. Start with dinner. Inca London on Argyll Street is the obvious choice for a group that wants a show with dinner and an easy move downstairs to Maya on a Friday or Saturday.
  2. Pick one main club and book it. A table secures entry for the whole group, which matters most for men and mixed groups, who are not added to the guestlist at Tape.
  3. Think about the finish. Cirque le Soir and Tape's main room end at 3:45am and Maya at 3am. Selene runs to 4am. If the group wants to keep going, Little Tape carries on to 5:30am on Fridays and Saturdays, and Beat runs until 6am.

The clubs north and south of Oxford Street are close enough that a change of plan rarely means a long walk, but entry is never guaranteed on the night without a booking, especially on a busy Saturday.

Getting Home From Oxford Circus

Oxford Circus is on both the Central and Victoria lines, and both run a 24-hour Night Tube service on Fridays and Saturdays, according to City Hall's Night Tube page. That makes the station one of the easier places in the West End to finish a weekend night. On other nights the Tube stops around midnight, so plan on a night bus or a booked car instead.
