Where the Pricing Starts
Minimum spends at KOKO start from around £1,000. That figure is a minimum spend, not a booking fee — it is money that goes across the bar on drinks for your group, not a charge for the table itself. Our service costs you nothing on top; the venue bills directly.
What that buys is a private table, booth or balcony box overlooking the dancefloor, premium bottle service, a dedicated VIP host for the night, and priority entry with no queuing.
What Moves the Number
Three factors, roughly in order of impact.
The DJ. This is the big one. A headline international booking on a Saturday prices very differently from a quieter Friday. If your date is flexible and your budget is not, ask us which weekends are softer — the difference is real.
The position. KOKO offers private boxes, floor-adjacent tables, the Artist Box and The Red Room. A balcony box with a view over the full theatre is a different product from a table near the floor, and prices accordingly.
The date. Bank holidays, Halloween and the December run sit above a standard weekend. The Halloween weekend in particular books out early and prices accordingly.
Which Table to Actually Take
This is where people waste money. The most expensive option is not automatically the right one.
If your group wants to dance, take something close to the floor. You will spend most of the night out of the seat anyway, and paying a premium for an elevated view you are not using is money badly spent.
If the night is about the occasion — a birthday, a group who want to be together, people who want to actually talk — take a balcony box. The view over a full Victorian theatre with the crowd below is genuinely something KOKO has and almost nothing else in London does. That is worth paying for.

The minimum spend is what your group needs to reach across the bar. In practice a group of eight to ten hits a £1,000 minimum without straining, particularly once you are into champagne or premium spirits. A group of four is working harder to reach the same number, which is why smaller groups often do better on guestlist and a good spot in the crowd.
Rough guide: work out your group size, assume the minimum is reachable at roughly £100–£125 a head at the entry level, and decide from there whether a table or the guestlist is the better use of the money.
Booking Timing
Tables and boxes go before general admission does, and on headline nights they go well before. The balcony positions are the first to disappear because they are the distinctive option.
If you have a specific DJ in mind, come to us early. If you have a specific date and a flexible taste in music, we can usually find you something good. If you want a specific box on a sold-out Halloween Saturday and you are asking in late October, I will tell you honestly what is left rather than waste your time.

For a birthday specifically, the balcony boxes are usually the right call even at a higher minimum. A group with a base and a view stays together and remembers the night; the same group on a packed floor splits up within an hour. That is the actual value of the spend, and it is worth more than the incremental cost between a floor table and a box.
