Itzel London Guestlist: How It Works and What It Costs

Itzel is a 500-capacity, three-room club at 15 Berkeley Street in Mayfair, open Thursday to Saturday from 11pm until 3:30am. Here is how its guestlist actually works, what it costs, and the things that decide whether you get in comfortably or stand around.

Mixed Groups Work Here

This is the headline and it is worth leading with, because it is genuinely unusual. The Itzel guestlist is not ladies-only. Groups of men and women can go down together, which several Mayfair rooms of comparable size do not allow.

If you have tried to organise a mixed group for a Mayfair night before, you will know how much friction that removes. The usual pattern is that the women go on a list and the men need a table, which turns a simple night into a negotiation. Here you can put the group down as a group.

What It Costs

A door charge applies, and it varies. The three things that move it are which night you are coming, what is programmed that night, and what time you arrive.

Earlier is cheaper, consistently. A Thursday will sit below a Saturday. A night with a headline booking will sit above a night without one. I am deliberately not quoting you a fixed number, because anyone who does is guessing — ask us for your specific date and we will tell you what the night actually looks like rather than promising free entry and leaving you to find out otherwise at the door.

Arriving

Five hundred capacity across three rooms means Itzel does not hit a wall the way a 200-person room does. That is a real advantage, and it is also the thing people over-read. The Main Room still reaches its peak well before close, and the door charge still climbs as the night goes on.

Closer to 11pm than 1am is the right instruction. You pay less, you walk in rather than queue, and you get the rooms while there is still space to move between them — which is most of the point of a three-room venue.

Groups and the Door

Door teams everywhere read group composition, and that is as true here as anywhere else in Mayfair. A balanced group arriving at a sensible hour moves through quickly. A large group arriving as one block late on a Saturday gets more attention.

The practical workarounds are the same ones that work at every selective London door: arrive earlier, come in smaller clusters rather than one wave, and make sure everyone in the group has read the dress code rather than assuming one person will slide through.

The ID Rule Catches People

Entry is strictly 18+ and the venue wants physical photographic ID. A photo of your passport on your phone will not get you in, and this is the single most common reason someone in an otherwise fine group ends up outside.

Send it to the group chat before the night. It is an awkward message and a far more awkward conversation at midnight.

If You Would Rather Skip the Door Entirely

A table removes the question. Entry is included for the group, minimum spends start from £600, and you get a private table, bottle service and a host for the night.

For a group of six to eight that is a reasonable per-head figure, and on a busy night it often works out close to what the door charge plus bar spend would have come to anyway — with the difference that you have somewhere to sit and nobody is queuing. For a birthday or anything where the night actually matters, it is usually the better call.

Dress Code

"Elegance with edge" is how the venue describes it. Dressed up, with room for personality, rather than a strict blazer-and-shoes rule. No sportswear, hoodies, shorts or activewear.

It is a real policy rather than a line on a website, and the guestlist does not soften it. If anything the door looks harder at list guests than at table bookings, which is true almost everywhere.

How to Join

Message us with the date, how many of you there are and the names in the group, and we will put the request in. Lists close ahead of the night and close earlier on weekends, so the sooner you ask the better. There is no cost for us to arrange it.
