LUXX LONDON GUESTLIST: CLOSED, AND WHERE TO GO INSTEAD

LUXX HAS CLOSED

Luxx London has closed. The hip hop club at 15 Berkeley Street in Mayfair was renamed Funky Buddha, and Funky Buddha has since closed too, so there is no guestlist to join under either name. Itzel is its successor at the Berkeley Street address.

WHERE TO JOIN THE GUESTLIST INSTEAD

➤ Itzel: now operating at 15 Berkeley Street, the former home of Luxx and Funky Buddha, with hip hop and eclectic sounds in the Main Room and house in the Moon Room.

➤ Tape London: on Hanover Square, one of Mayfair's hardest doors, with hip hop, RnB and Afrobeats until 3:45am.

➤ Maddox: a sleek, table-led Mayfair room on Mill Street mixing hip hop and house.

➤ Rumour: on Dover Street, an intimate, dressed-up open-format room playing hip hop, RnB and house.

WHAT LUXX WAS

When it was open, Luxx was known for extravagant bottle shows, hip hop and RnB, and an international crowd in its twenties and early thirties, from Thursday to Saturday. Its guestlist entry fees and rules no longer apply.
