The 5 Best Clubs in Mayfair, London

Updated: Mar 12

Only a few people know the best clubs in Mayfair for a fun night out. Mainly because the best venues in Mayfair nightlife are London’s exclusive clubs. Plus, most people think that famous clubs mean fun nights when that’s rarely the case.

If you’re looking for an unforgettable night in London: Instagram-perfect nightclubs, luxurious parties, and beautiful, sophisticated people, here are the top Mayfair clubs and how you can party there.

1. Tape London

Tape London is not only a dream-like party venue, but it’s also a renowned celebrity hotspot which is why it’s our pick for the best club in Mayfair. The club’s stage has seen many famous faces: Drake, Jaden Smith, Kehlani, Tyga, Jack Harlow, and the list goes on.

As for the nightly music, the club’s resident DJs switch between RnB, afrobeats, and hip-hop and they know how to keep people on the dancefloor. And, between the Tape London dancers - a.k.a. the Tape Girls, the fire performers and acrobats, and the regular bottleshows, your excitement will just keep on building up.

In other words, Tape London is where you go to lose control and surrender to the beautiful flow of life. If you like to mingle, you’ll definitely find a beautiful, elegant, and sophisticated crowd at Tape.

To get into Tape, all you have to do is sign-up for the Tape London guestlist or request a VIP table booking through a promoter or a club booking service like us. This will help you get your spot because Tape is a highly exclusive Mayfair club, so many people don’t end up making the cut when booking independently.

2. The Box Soho

The Box Soho is one of London’s raunchiest, most mysterious, and most secretive clubs which makes it a must if you’re already planning on diving head-first into the Mayfair nightlife. Yes, The Box is not in Mayfair per se, but it still deserves a mention on this list. Plus, it’s a 10-minute walk from Tape London.

For starters, you can’t take pictures or videos in The Box Soho because what happens in The Box stays in The Box. Again, this is all for a good reason because the shows in The Box can get really wild really fast: fake cocaine bags, strippers, goblins. The limit doesn’t exist and we’ve written a whole article about how crazy The Box London stories can get.

Secret rooms, sex games, impromptu lap dances, Benedict Cumberbatch, the Royal Family, and Keira Knightley. All that and more happens behind The Box Soho’s trusty doors.

Unlike the other clubs on this list, to get into The Box Soho, you need to get a VIP table booking and to do that, you need to know someone in their inner circle. Because The Box’s management is very selective about their crowd, they like to keep a tight circle. So, while there’s no The Box guestlist, you still have a chance to party in The Box Soho.

3. Tabu London

If you’ve experienced the high-tech, dopamine-pumping Tokyo nightlife, you’ll love the Japan-inspired Tabu London. The venue is split into two floors, each offering a different vibe for its guests.

The top floor at Tabu is known as the Yuki lounge. It’s a luxurious Tokyo-themed cocktail lounge that offers a relaxed atmosphere and a place for house music lovers. Overall, it’s a great choice if you’re more interested in having conversations and meeting people than dancing the night away.

The underground hip-hop-dedicated floor is known as the Tabu nightclub and that’s where the real magic takes place. Designed like a futuristic Tokyo back-alley, Tabu completely transports you in space and time. Except that, once the club’s doors open, you’ll see London’s elite flooding in: influencers, models, and high-class Londoners. Once the club fills up a little, you’ll see the dancers coming out. After that, some steamy performances. And, for the cherry on top, Tabu offers high-end Japanese liquors to fuel your fun times.

Like the other exclusive clubs on this list, you can get into Tabu by signing up for the Tabu guestlist or by getting a Tabu VIP table booking.

4. Luxx Club

Luxx Club is one of those exclusive Mayfair clubs that go all out when it comes to everything, from furniture and lighting to bottleshows and dancers. Granted, they don’t host many celebrity performers like Tape London does, but they’ve hosted their share of famous guests.

Luxx Club for us means shine and glamour. You’ve got massive LED screens and lightboards all around the club for these amazing visual shows. For the music, there are top-notch artists, like DJ AIK, Jon Rocca, and Rees Parker. And just because they can, Luxx Club has pole dancers, and go-go dancers to add spice to the night.

Last but not least, the Luxx club crowd is rich, wild, and young which makes it a great venue if you want to have a night of casual fun. As with Tape, to get into Luxx, you need to sign-up for the Luxx Club guestlist or request a Luxx booking.

5. Maddox Club

While Maddox club London is the last on our list of elite party venues, it’s still one of the best clubs in Mayfair.

Unlike the rest, Maddox believes in creating a luxurious and opulent atmosphere through minimalism. They keep their club design sleek and without any unessential extras. Instead, they play with their lighting to create a warm mood around the tables and an energetic mood on the dancefloor.

Because the Maddox crowd is more mature and people-oriented, the management tries to break social barriers through the club’s design. You’ll also notice the lack of some things, like dancers and performers - a true example of luxury and sophistication through minimalism. That’s why Maddox club London is a great choice if you’re more into meeting people than dancing.

Lastly, the Maddox Green Room is what we consider the main attraction for people looking for more private parties. Located within the club, the Green Room stays open until 6:00 AM and plays only house music. It is only open to a select few. So, even if you get into the club, you need to know the right people to get into the Green Room.

To get into Maddox, you need to sign-up for a Maddox guestlist spot or request a Maddox table booking.
