Arrival time is one of the most important things to keep in mind when you’re out clubbing in London. It could make or break your night. While you usually don’t need to worry because we’ll always tell you the best arrival time, if you like to be extra prepared, this article is for you. So, what time should you arrive at a club in London? Let’s talk details.

Is It Better to Arrive Early or Late for a London Club?
The one-size-fits-all answer is that arriving early is always better. The worst-case scenario if you arrive too early is that you’ll get to explore the club and feel out the energy for a bit before it really gets buzzing. The worst-case scenario if you arrive too late, is that you’ll waste your night waiting in a queue only to never get in. That said, we’ll never tell you to arrive early without a reason, and we’ll always let you know the best arrival time for the night and the nightclub you’re interested in.
What Time Should I Arrive at a Club in London?
The arrival time we recommend usually depends on the night and whether you’re on the guestlist or have a table booking. When it comes to table bookings, there’s more leeway, and there’s no need to arrive as early because tables are prioritised. Meanwhile, on the guestlist, it’s a little different and spots are very limited, so there’s not much leeway.
On weekdays, we suggest our guestlist clients arrive around midnight. Doors usually open at 11:00 PM, and you can arrive then if you like, but it’s okay to be a little later on weekdays since they’re not as packed.
On weekends, we suggest our guestlist clients arrive between 11:00 PM and 12:00 AM — some nights we suggest 11:30 PM at the latest. With weekends and celebrity performance nights, clubs can get very busy very fast. Arriving then gives you a chance to get in smoothly.
As for table clients, it heavily depends on the venue. We’ll always provide you with an arrival time when you reach out for a booking.
What Happens If You Arrive Too Late to a London Club?
Late arrival could mean several things. One, you could arrive after the guestlist has closed or after the doors have closed. In that case, you won’t be able to get in. Two, you could arrive after the club has reached maximum capacity, in which case you’ll have to wait until someone leaves. Three, your booking may be released depending on how late you are. Most clubs have long waiting lists, so a reservation can only be held for a limited time.
Now you should have a better idea what London club arrival times are usually like and what time you should arrive at a club in London. That said, it’s always better to ask us directly as it could change on a nightly basis. If you have any questions or if you’d like to join the guestlist or get a London club table booking, let us know.
